Recruitment of Master and PhD students

The neutrino groupat the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Education (IFIRSE) (http://www-he.scphys.kyoto-u.ac.jp/member/nuICISE/)recruits several master students and a PhD candidate in the field of experimental neutrino physics for the academic year 2017-2018. We are looking for Vietnamese students who are enrolling or planning to enroll in master and PhD programs at research institutes and universities in Vietnam. The IFIRSE will be responsible for scientific supervision and offer fellowships to selected students. These selected students, under supervision of Japan and Vietnam experts, will work in international neutrino experiments located in Japan as members of the Neutrino group at the IFIRSE.
The period of accepting applications is from August 4, 2017 until the positions are fully filled. The first selection is expected on September 1, 2017. Candidates may be interviewed by a committee of Japan and Vietnam physicists. An internship for selected students is planned to start from October 1, 2017 (the IFIRSE will support their stay during this period), then an official contract will be signed later for the case of successful internship and passing the above-mentioned entrance exams for PhD program.
